Internationally acclaimed and multi-award nominated comedian Ishi Khan has been spreading joy since birth, when she came out crying and everyone laughed!
Born in Zambia with Indian ancestry, Ishi crept into stand up comedy like a cat finding its home and developed her unique blend of love, light, and laughter.
Now based in Leicestershire, she’s been performing on the UK circuit since 2008 touring her solo shows ‘I am happy’, ‘I’m Migrant’ and ‘Love, desires, and strawberries’ as well as appearing at multiple festivals, MCing, delivering laughter yoga, and much more.
With her fascinating world view and multicultural perspective, Ishi’s comedy is inspired by emotive responses to current affairs, seeking to understand the influence of culture and family, and an endearing and unfaltering desire to spread her unique brand of happiness to all who will listen!
